FAQ
Q: Test question?
A: Test answer!
General Site
MAWFF Card Maker
Q: What do you use the stats for?
A:
In the current version of the game, stats don't do anything aside from influence the success of Jobs. I want to eventually expand this project's scope enough to implement a competition gameplay system
that uses the Stats - and other character abilities - you train during the training gameplay. But no such competition gameplay currently exists, and I'm keeping this project smaller in scope until I refine the basic training systems further.
Q: What is your goal in the game?
A:
Your primary goal is intended to be to build as effective a character build as you can, prioritizing whatever stats you want. However, you have a secondary goal to make a Pollen Quota every 20 turns or else your run ends early.
Every time you meet your Pollen Quota, you get bonus stats.
Q: Do you plan on continuing to develop this prototype?
A:
I've decided to postpone plans to continue developing the MAWFF Card Maker indefinitely. It could be fun to return to the idea someday! But originally, my motivation to develop the idea was driven by an intense desire to create an example of my biggest hyperfixation, the kind of turn-based cyclical raising sims of the likes of Umamusume, Monster Farm Line, Idolm@ster, and so on.
Umamusume's recent global release and its subsequent viral popularity, particularly in my personal social circles, gave me a feeling of validation for my fixation similar to my project's goal.
Since then I've decided I would rather dedicate my interests in hobbyist game dev to an engine designed for broader gamedev capabilities, such as Godot, rather than sticking to my comfort zone of skills relevant to my day job.
So I've decided to archive the old project and remove it from this website. You can still access it from the same link as before, over here! And I may very well pursue similar ideas in a new engine as time and learned skills allow! But expanding this prototype is no longer my current priority.
